There is a moment in every tutorial-watcher's life when they realize they have absorbed piles of strategy and never once bought a domain. Theory is comfortable. Checkout pages are commitment. The build
It goes in the honest order. Buy the domain on Namecheap. Connect Dreamhost hosting to it, which is the step where beginners usually stall because nameservers feel like wizardry until someone shows you. Then WordPress: the basics of the dashboard, creating posts and pages, and buying and setting up a theme so the site looks professional without you designing anything.
Every click happens on screen. That is the value of a from-scratch build over a strategy course: nothing is left as an exercise for the reader.
Wiring it for money and measurement
A niche site that cannot measure itself or earn anything is a blog. The second half installs the working parts: Google Analytics and the Facebook pixel for measurement, Rank Math SEO configured so your posts can actually compete on Google, and the policy pages that a monetized site is expected to have. Then the money: connecting Google AdSense and adding Amazon affiliate links, the two classic niche site revenue streams, both set up on the real site you just built.
